yes...i havent write in a while...
went back to Hongkong last week. did what i am supposed to do. am really glad i went back else i know i will regret.
watched CATS. it was nice however we found that the casts are all on the skinny side, kinda not used to it after being too used to the DVD version. nevertheless, it was nice.
misu has passed on. he has been a great companion. we are all upset but i know he will continue to live in everyone's heart as he has been a lovely dog for the past years. i hope he rests in peace now. maybe all of you who have dogs spend more quality time with him/her before you come to regret it.

Another complaint...

I am irritated by a customer today..he is irritating...

blah blah blah...(this is a very brief summary coz i am very exhausted by him)
Customer: How come take away a shopping point need to add money?
Gina: If you want to take up this tour, you have to comply with all the places in the itinerary.
Customer: I wanted a private tour.
Gina: Yes, even private tour package will have shoppings.
Customer: Yes but I wanted free and easy!!
Gina: You mean you told her you want free and easy ? (points to colleague)
Customer: Yes...i told her i want free and easy..
Gina: hm...by free and easy, it means you only want hotel, transfer, tickets, is that so?
Customer: There is no tour meh?
Gina: No if you want free and easy.
Customer: No way..that is ridiculous..i want a free and easy private tour, with a private car and tour guide and i can go anywhere i want.
Gina: that is different. That is not called free and easy. That is a private vip tour where you specify you do not want any shopping and fixed itinerary. and the price will be very high
Customer: That is what i want. I dun want any shopping. I have been to many many places already. don;t tell me you cannot do it. and you didnt state that there will be shopping in this iti!
Gina: (totally exhuasted..), this is a brief itinerary where we highlight to customers on the places of interest they will be heading to.
Customer: then you didnt tell me there is shopping (my colleague did)
Gina: we will show u in the final confirmation after the tour is arranged and confirmed. This is just a flyer for people to take.
Customer: well..if you didnt write here that there are shopping..then you cannot tell me there will be shopping! (as i said...already told him but he denied)
Gina: well...it is impossible to write down every single details in that itinerary. Like i cant write where to have lunch, which restaurant, where, etc (in my heart i am thinking...fine...then i only wrote meals provided...it can be just rice and egg every meal right??)
Customer: Ok fine. i will take that...just dun wanna argue...then you tell me if i can fly domestic from Lijiang back to Kunming?
Gina: Why do you want to do that? you can fly straight from Shangrila to Kunming.
Customer: It is much cheaper to fly from Lijiang! anyway, you can do that right? since you are supposed to send me back to Kunming back car, why not just stop at Lijiang and let me take my flight back.
Gina: It is not possible as it is not in the itinerary
Customer: I tell you..this is possible! why not? you know i can take you to CASE, post on internet that you are doing business wrong!!! I get what i see. and it is NOT ABOUT THE MONEY...i travelled so much!
Gina: (totally wanna faint...like i am scared of CASE..i am not even afraid if he send me lawyer letter...wtf) i know..however i cant do that. why don't you just fly from Shangarila? It is S$225.
Customer: I want to fly from Lijiang, it is only about S$140.
Gina: fine..let me check for you...(to think he claimed that he has been to MANY PLACES like USA/EUROPE, trying to sound rich and use english....walau...only 80 bucks difference..plus...look down)
Gina: are you sure you want to do that? it will be a 5hr car ride from Shangrila to Lijiang and by then, almost another day gone..
Customer: yes la..why not. then you don't tell me your tour is fixed time..(he think he is taking the VIP tour)
Gina: ...
Customer: you know last time i went Grand Canyon..the guide told me we have 30mins to take photos...i scold him! i told him i want 2 hours...or even if i wanna stay until next day you can do nothing!! then i made all other customers do that and we all stayed for 2 hours...
Gina: ... (i understand when guests want to stay longer...but you cannot be too much. some people want to take the cheapest cheapest tour and expect it to be VIP...)
Customer just blah blah blah..he loves to talk...so in the end, i agreed with everything he said...even though i know my profit cannot cover. you know why? i already told him from the start that tour will only be confirmed after i get confirmation from my suppliers and hotels in China. So i decided tomorrow i will just tell him that there are no more hotel. Fuck him!

You won't know how cheap can a person get.

Today a CHINESE lady walked into our office..

here is the convo:
Lady: Hi, do you know where is BENSTA ATHASDF (shows me a piece of paper)
Gina: Hmm...I didnt hear of this place before (It is some indo words)
Lady: Oh..can you check for me? do you have indo map? (she doesnt look like she wanna buy any tour, more like asking for info)
Gina: Hmm...actually no. Are you trying to find a tour to this place or what? (trying to find out her motives)
Lady: Yah, i want to go to this place.
Gina: Ok, let me check for me.

After Cam checked online(She happened to be here..), this place turns out to be Bintan(Name of the ferry terminal).
So we showed her some brochures of Bintan resorts. Cam took a Banyan Tree Brochure for her. I was like " Hey..that is too expensive, show her the Nirwana". Then Cam told me "She wanted the MOST expensive one!"
These went on for about 10 minutes and Cam told me she finally decided she wants to look at the CHEAPEST ones because Banyan Tree is like DAMN TAKAI. (About $1200 single room for 1 night!!)

Moments Later....(Cam left already..rushed back to work after lunch)

Lady: Are these the only pictures you have on these brochures?
Gina: Yes. (Already quite irritated by the obvious insincerity of wanting to buy a package)
Lady: You don't have picture of this hotel? (Points to Banyan Tree Brochure)
Gina: Hmm.. NO. (Obviously don't want to waste too much time on her already)
Lady: Ok thanks... (walked away)

Lady: (appearing suddenly again)...sorry ah...This is the price for SINGLE PERSON? (Points at S$1200 Banyan)
Gina: Yes.
Lady: Thank you. (Walked away)

Lady: (Come back again)..sorry sorry. Do you know which is the hotel that advertise VERY BIG last year at Cityhall??
Gina: Don't know. (Cam told me after that that she already asked this question before.. and Cam advised her to find out from other people that she knows...hehe)
Lady: Ok..So this is single person, SINGLE BED?? (Points at Nirwana brochure)
Gina: Yes, of coz! It is for ONE PERSON.
Lady: Cannot have QUEEN SIZE bed???
Gina: (exhausted..) Of coz not. If you have 2 people, this is the price (Points at TWIN)
Lady: Oh..(Looks "greedy")
Gina: (quickly tries to explain)..that is price for one person in a TWIN Room, if 2 person need to times 2... (coz obviously the TWIN price will be cheaper for one person)
Lady: Ok..thanks (turning away....and then turning back)
Lady: Do you know which hotel has the MOST FOREIGNER??? (WALAU!!)
Gina: Huh...all of them has...since it is a resort place..(her intention is f***ing obvious!!)

Lady walked away.

I was sooo irritated but at the same time feeling sooo funny. So I told all my colleagues and they were laughing like crazy.

Then...20minutes later....phone rang..

Colleague A: YOUR BANYAN TREE CALLED!
Gina: What she wants?
Colleague A: Ask for Banyan tree number!!
Gina: What the hell? (Colleague finding...)

Then...10 minutes later...phone rang...
Colleague B: GINA!!
Gina: WHAT!
Colleague B: YOUR BANYAN TREE CALLED AGAIN!!
Gina: WALAU! WHAT SHE WANTS AGAIN????
Colleague B: She asked if Banyan tree is near the beach!!
Gina: WALAU! TELL HER ALL NEAR THE BEACH LA.
Colleague B: NO LEH...I TOLD HER THERE ARE NO BEACH!!
Gina: HAHAHAHHAAHA

Moments later..Colleague A came back from toilet..
Colleague A: did your BANYAN TREE call?? I am supposed to help her find Banyan Tree phone.
Gina: Yes la.
Colleague A: SHE REALLY CALLED?
Gina: Yes...and asked if Banyan Tree is near the beach.
Colleague A: HAHAHA..tell her it is up on the hill.
Gina: Nearly...B told her there is no beach. wahhaha....and SINCE WHEN did she become MY BANYAN TREE?

haha...its really DUH...at her extent of wanting to hit on some guy...probably rich ones too... :P that is almost one typical day in my office! hahhaa...sometimes we have very crazy person...you can probably remember some of my earlier post about crazy people! hahhaa....

wow...time really flies....i always thought that I just updated my blog not long ago....i have a lot to write, am just very lazy to.

went to Bangkok last last week for a couple of days with cam and deng. Was very relaxing and inspiring. Bought a lot of things too. it was nice travelling with them as usual. we stayed in a nice little suite with living room, which is cool coz we stayed in the hotel most of the time and it is nice to have sofas and tables/chairs instead of just a bed. imagine ordering room services 7 times throughout the trip. haha.

came back. went to work. played with the dogs. celebrated Ashley's birthday. went botanic garden for picnic. took lots of photos for the dogs. grandma admitted to the hospital for some infection. busy preparing kuro's treats and stuff for sat agility foundation camp. i am excited about it, guess the instructor will faint upon seeing kuro barking at the obstacles, the poles, strange objects. haha...anyway will update more regarding the camp. gonna go now! just a short update! :)

Pets' Viewpoint about coming to live in Singapore!!

Singapore is not so bad, once I survived 30 dreadful days of quarantine. Apparently I need a visa like the humans. I missed my family so much and got always very excited when they came for a visit. I never understood why they did not take me with them.

It is very hard to get used to the climate. I am constantly thirsty and miss running around in the park, as my owner needs to keep me on a leash.

My family cannot take me along for shopping or to restaurants and I have to stay with the maid. Boring...

The walks with the maid in the morning and evening are very short and end at the corner where I meet other pets with their maids. Lots of gossip, but no exercise and no chance to have a good bark!

You should ask your family to get a house with a garden, so at least I can mark my territory.

Didnt have the mood to update last night although we feel like it. Yesterday we ride to Gombak to buy lunch...and Coffee amazingly followed us all the way and panted all the way of coz! Sad thing is Deng lost her wallet and phone along the way. Found her wallet but phone was gone....so sad....dun wanna talk much abt it! Blog is supposed to write happy things mah...coz when u look back at the blog 10months later, you will only rem the happy things!! hahaha...dun be bothered by it ba! i lost over 10k in investments and shares already! :P

and now...
TIRED! but happy! today got 2 accomplishments! first...We tried Andre on the bike-seat behind! (yes..there is a kid seat on my very cool avalanche!!) anyway...he was happy and laughing when i cycle round and round while he watched...but he started to want-to-cry when he saw me approaching and they starting the action of putting him behind...so we gave up....then we decided to ask Ashley out and try it on her! but as usual...she started her stubborn NONO and whining...but she was really happy chasing after my bike while i cycled around...well....as long as she dun have to ride on it! hahaha....after a while Saosao has an idea...she told Ashley that they are going home and Ash of coz dun want! but mummy said...if you wanna stay here, you have to take a ride...if not, go inside...then she ok! sat in it for a while and started whining! but at this point of time, Andre who was watching the whole process starting crying!! HE was so jealous of his sister trying the seat that he struggled to release himself from Honey! HE WANTS TO TRY! hahha...so happily he took a ride to Mayfair...think we can try again tomolo! HE loves it! HE was pulling my tshirt from behind and laughing very loudly! My effort and money finally did not go down to waste...and will not be used only for groceries! hahhaa.....
lastly...my night ended very proudly and satisfied as I just rode to gombak with KURO!! he started the journey with exxcitement and awkwardness coz he is supposed to be scared of bicycles and uncontrollable! hahha...he will always hide behind me so that i am between him and my bike. anyway, overall the journey was great, except for the fact that he will get too excited when he sees you-know-who(his 'tong-bao')..hahha...i almost dislocate my fingers! hahhaa...the usualy 15minutes relaxing ride was turned into a nervous 45mins ride....got a sense of achievement though when we successfully reached PAWS AVENUE..haha....chatted a bit and played with the dogs there...took 30mins back very smoothly since kuro is tired like hell! hahhaa :) ok la..this is supposed to be a quickie update coz i am going to sleep and deng is waiting to have a quickie look! hahha :P goodnite then!!

back from a quick ride and cycling-training with kuro just outside my house....stupid fucking neighbour i wanna kick her arse....its irritating...ok..this was what happened...Me and Kuro stopped somewhere outside her house...but not directly outside...we were in the middle of the road...and her dog seems very excited and keep barking non-stop at us...and the mistress appear and did not make ANY attempt to quiet down her dog..instead she looked up to me and motioned to me with her stupid hand and ask me to go..i was like WTF...is this your grandfather's road?? anyway some neighbours are irritating....

and did i mention i met up with a couple of young girls with dogs? yah....we were in the same forum and they were organising some events, so we met up and chatted a couple of hours 2 days ago.....had a fun night coz the dogs were unleased in the mini soccer court in gombak :) we are all very excited and looking forward to tomorrow's BBQ event organised by WOOFBAY :) will update more after the events!

lastly, please do not expect to see anymore photos here in xanga, its way too troublesome to upload..plus most of you have my facebook or kuro's facebook account, so please go see the photos there....plus if you DON'T have a facebook account or my facebook account...its time to get one! or to add us! :) Must progress with time!! hahaha...ok..time for my mahjong game! wish me luck!! *cheerzz*

A tiring day...rushed home from office coz I need to get my bicycle rack done up. Rodalink wasnt able to do anything to my van; they said it cannot be done. But i didn't want to give up because if I cannot hold my bikes at the back, then the inside of my van cannot seat anyone...which is bad...so I ended up calling a few bike shops! I was lucky to find one near my place who said can do it! Turned out the boss has over 20years of experience and done up my van nicely within 15minutes! And its almost half the price of Rodalink! (people who worked there are very young malays....nice people...but probably not very experienced). Then I told the boss(Uncle Lim) that I bought my stuffs at Rodalink...then he smiled and said :"they are branded"...ahaha...you know what that means la! Then I spent another 70bucks to do a nice little kid seats behind my very stylo mountain bike...hoping that Andre, not Ashley will like it. I know Ashley is scared of it, but I thought little Andre will love it! WHO KNOWS HE CRIED LIKE NOBODY BUSINESS!! walau..hahaha....in the end, me and cam and mum was riding outside...but 10minutes later, my poor mum fell down and injured her arms and knees...>_<'' she couldnt continue anymore and got back home to clean up her wounds. After that me and Cam went riding to Rail Mall to get my hot chocolate and back. Its a fun night with lots of injuries (I cut myself too...sigh)..:P my kid-seat ended up carrying a bag of cookies and 2 boxes of hot chocolate powder instead of my 2 cute niece and nephew!! heheee

today is the 5th day of Chinese New Year;break is almost coming to an end! How sad! >_<
Bro and Meiki reached Singapore on the 22nd (night) for Chinese New Year. We did nothing special except to eat and eat and eat everyday. Meiki claimed that she gained about 3KG just by staying for a week here, but I guess she will lose those pounds in just a few days since she is back in Hong Kong now. New Year was nothing fantastic as usual. The only really special thing was I only played 3hours of mahjong over the 1 week break because Bro and MK were here! :P They don'y really play so we all just hang around and "chill"! like what my little cousins said. Went to watch Brides War with my cousins and watching my 15-18years old cousins with make ups and talking like little adults, I truly admit that I am getting old. They must be thinking I am like an old lady bringing them out! All 8 of us (including MK, HK, FJ and WY) squeeze into my Doraemon Kangoo and zoomed to Jurong Point for the movie :) IT was pretty good though, except that it burnt a little hole in my pocket. hehe So yah, that is my Chinese New Year without any hiccups nor excitement. ITs Saturday and there goes my one week break! Hopefully i will be updating with more juicy news next time else I will be dying of boredom! Haha!
